Q. When was KP Prosecution Established?

Ans. The Directorate of Prosecution was established under Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Prosecution Service (Constitution, Functions and Powers) Act 2005, as attached Department of Home & Tribal Affairs Department in 2005.

Ans.Prosecution is the legal process by which someone is charged and trialled for committing a crime. It is typically carried out by a Public Prosecutor on behalf of the state.

A prosecutor is a legal representative of the prosecution. They are responsible for presenting the case against an accused person in a criminal trial court.

Q.What is the difference between prosecution and defense?

The prosecution seeks to prove that the defendant committed a crime, while the defense represents the accused and seeks to challenge the prosecution's evidence and arguments.

Yes, prosecution refers to criminal proceedings by Directorate of Prosecution Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Civil cases involve different procedures and parties deal by the Law Department Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
